Success for Lincolnshire Farmers at Louth Livestock Market’s Spring Collective Sale

The sun shone at last on a bumper crowd at the New Farmers’ Spring Collective Sale of Agricultural Equipment & Machinery, held last Saturday, 16th March, at the Louth Livestock Market.
The event was a resounding success, with a fantastic turnout from local farmers and dealers both looking to buy and sell. The market buzzed with attendees coming to view the lots outside at the cattle market site and in the cattle sheds from 8am until the start of the sale at noon. The collective sale attracted 126 high quality lots in total with a wide range of entries, including large agricultural machinery and essential livestock equipment.
For those unable to attend in person, the option to participate online via Marteye proved popular. This innovative approach ensured everyone had a chance to get involved in bidding and buying live during the auction even if they were sitting on their tractor and couldn’t attend the sale!
We saw an increased number of successful buys from online bidders achieving good returns for our local farmers and agricultural equipment dealers opening up the sale to a wider audience.
Overall, the sale achieved excellent results, with vendors fetching strong prices for their unwanted machinery. Top lots included tractors and teleporters as highlights of the auction, attracting significant interest and selling well. For example:
