We are delighted to congratulate Lucy Turner on her success following the recent CAAV examinations, becoming one of just 72 new Fellows from all parts of the United Kingdom to pass and join the esteemed association.

As a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV), Lucy joins existing Masons Rural members, Managing Director Simon Williams, Director Russell Jeanes, Associate Ella Redrup and Consultant David Williams who are all already part of the specialist agricultural professional body.

“It may have taken me slightly longer; however, I am over the moon to finally be able to say I am a fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers. Huge thank you to the directors at Masons for their continued support throughout the process,” shared Lucy when the results were announced earlier this month.

CAAV members who have achieved this qualification are able to display FAAV after their name, indicating their status as a Fellow of the association of agricultural and rural valuers. This means they can provide professional advice and valuation expertise on issues affecting the countryside.

FAAV indicates a standard of quality that reassures clients from tenants to farmers, landowners, and other professionals as it means members have practical experience, have passed rigorous CAAV exams, will maintain a commitment to lifelong learning and will abide by the CAAV rules of conduct.

“I am looking forward to firstly filing away my revision notes, but also getting stuck into valuation work alongside Ella, Simon and Russell” adds Lucy, who is looking forward to growing her expertise under the mentorship of her fellow CAAV professionals within the Masons Rural team.

Masons Rural advise farmers, landowners and occupiers on everything from tenancy matters to sales and purchase of land and farms, compulsory purchase to auctioneering, taxation to farming structures and of course valuations.

To discuss any of these topics with one of our FAAV professionals, just call 01507 350500 Option 3 or email Masons Rural to request a call or book a meeting. We’re always happy to arrange a farm visit, or you’re welcome to meet at our HQ in central Louth or up at our office at Louth Livestock Market.
