One of the advantages of talking to Masons Rural about planning issues around Lincolnshire land and property is that we have an inhouse planning expert available to support our clients.

Lauren Chamberlin (nee West) is a planner working within the Masons Rural team, specialising in Rural Planning yet able to assist with any general planning issues. In addition to bringing land and farms to market, she also supports the residential Sales team and is on hand to help solve any barriers to sale that may come up for vendors and purchasers.

Lauren graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2012 with a degree in Planning and Property Development. After graduation, she worked for a private developer where she identified sites for strategic development.

Lauren then moved into the equestrian industry for several years competing at the highest level. She is a passionate and talented rider and continues to take part in major competitions like Floors International Horse Trials.

Lauren is married to a local farmer and lives on a farm in the Lincolnshire Wolds. She works with both sheep and cattle on the Livestock Market every week and is regularly available to speak with our clients at our new monthly Planning Pop Up in the Masons Rural office at the market.

Having a planner in the team, with considerable sales experience, immersed in a farming and equestrian lifestyle, means we know exactly what our clients face when seeking planning for private and commercial development. As part of the Masons Rural team, working with architects and local planning departments, Lauren is experienced in supporting projects that require planning in rural villages, market towns and the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

If you’d like to explore how to make the most of your current assets such as permitted development for Class Q, changing agricultural barns to residential, creating homes for family members or developing additional income streams through holiday cottages, glamping or caravans, then please get in touch.

Why not book to have an initial chat with Lauren to discuss the opportunities that gaining planning on your land or property can open up?
