Livestock Auctioneer & Graduate Trainee Valuer
Oliver is a Graduate Trainee Agricultural Valuer and Livestock Auctioneer. He officially joined the firm in December 2019, however was known to us prior due to his interest and presence at Louth Livestock Market.
His main line of work at Masons is auctioneering and running the livestock procurement at Louth Market. Oliver is currently studying towards a ‘Livestock Market Operations and Management’ course at Harper Adams University, and once graduated with become a Fellow of the Livestock Auctioneers Association.
Oliver previously studied Agriculture at ‘the best land-based College in the country’, Riseholme, on the 200-hectare Campus, where he later went on to complete a Foundation Degree. Alongside studying he worked around the county contract lambing and later went on to work on a large mixed farm for two years, working his way up to become Head Stockman!
In his spare time Oliver runs a Pedigree Flock of Charollais sheep on his family farm near Louth and competes at various competitions around the country.
