Ensuring deposits are administered correctly

The Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) is a multi-award winning provider of tenancy deposit protection, protecting over 1 million deposits in England and Wales.

Since the 6th April 2007 all deposits taken for Assured Shorthold Tenancies have to be covered by a Tenancy Deposit Protection Scheme.

This scheme has been developed to ensure that deposits held by reputable Agents are protected, and that disputes about their return are resolved swiftly, inexpensively and impartially.
