If you’ve been to Louth Market this October, you’ll know how busy we’ve been!!

Over the last month Louth Livestock Market has seen record levels of entries, sales and prices.

In general livestock markets see dips and troughs throughout the year, specifically seeing high levels of entries in the spring / autumn months due to lambing & calving seasons.

Throughout October, we had three 'special' cattle sales - two Breeding & Store sales and one Suckled Calves & Store sales.

A huge thank you to all the staff at Louth Livestock Market for their efforts this past year, it’s been a year of learning and development, but we now look forward to our Annual Christmas Fatstock Show & Sale on Thursday 28th November. A date of huge importance in the agricultural calendar, where farmers, traders and buyers all come together to celebrate the past year and spread some Christmas cheer all whilst raising funds for two incredibly worthy charities - Lincolnshire Rural Support Network and Macmillan Cancer Support.
