Masons Sponsor Riding for Disabled event with Princess Anne

As President of Riding for the Disabled Association, Princess Anne visited the Lincolnshire Wolds RDA at the Lincolnshire Rural Activities Centre, Kenwick Hill in Louth.

The Princess Royal was treated to displays and handed out awards to long-serving coaches at the disabled riding club which has 22 riders and three carriage riders, all of whom are aged from two-years-old upwards.

An exciting driving and riding demonstration was then held in the main arena, followed by the presentation of long-service awards to a number of the dedicated volunteers.  The Lincolnshire Wolds Riding for the Disabled group help many people with disabilities.  The £1.5million facility in Louth is brilliant and is available for use for all people with disabilities.

Through specially tailored and supported horse riding sessions, the group provides therapy, achievement and enjoyment to people with disabilities in the Louth area.

Together with our Annual Sponsorship, Masons were very glad to be able to support this event by sponsoring the full lunch buffet.

As a firm we feel that we have a role to play in supporting local events, organisations and initiatives and generally trying to make a positive contribution to the community in which most of our staff live and work.

Congratulations Anna Williams - a worthy winner at the Masons Sponsored class at Brocklesby Pony Club
