We are delighted to share the good news that Masons Residential Property Agent Jessika Critten recently became a member of the National Association of Estate Agents.

Jess joined Masons in 2020. As well as being independent and solutions focused, Jess finds working as part of the expert Residential Property Team one of the highlights of her career at Masons.

Estate agency and rural expertise - under one roof

“I love my team. We all work together to satisfy any issue for clients professionally. And it’s so much nicer now that we have all the departments back in the office full time. With every type of professional rural expertise under one roof, Masons is uniquely placed to offer exceptional service to vendors and buyers in the Lincolnshire countryside.”

Jessika started her Level 3 Award in Sale of Residential Property in November 2021 and passed her fourth and final exam in early February.  As part of Masons’ ongoing commitment to professional development, Jess was given study leave for each exam and studied in my own time to ensure her success.

Living and working in Louth and the Lincolnshire Wolds

When it comes to knowledge of living and working in Lincolnshire, Jessika is something of a local expert, with a wealth of lived experience, having grown up and lived in stunning rural villages around Louth. She share her extensive local knowledge with clients every day.

“Louth is a lovely little town, which happily retains its quaint feeling. I love that the properties we market are incredibly refreshing and so diverse. We have many listings with land, very rural and the Wolds are just beautiful, such a key feature of Lincolnshire.”

Experience in property and development

Jessika bought her first property with her partner in August 2020 through auction so she has experience to share with clients of what it is like to buy through auction. Over the last 18 months, they have fully renovated the property, creating a stunning home for sale and are in the process of purchasing a building plot, all valuable insights to benefit clients.

“Funnily enough my ideal property isn’t a new build though. I love an old property with lots of character and big gardens! Perhaps that’s one of the reasons I find Masons such a good fit. We market premium properties in Lincolnshire, so I get so much inspiration at work.”

Developing a property career at Masons

Jessika is taking on the Level 4 Award in Sale of Residential Property. This is the leading qualification for a senior property sales manager in the industry. It is a complex course, with formal examinations including essay writing so the National Association of Estate Agents allows up to 3 years for candidates to pass. Level 4 is nationally recognised equivalent to a Certificate of Higher Education. Jess intends to achieve her qualification in the next year with personal study and professional support from Masons.
